The weekly Monday Nite Bicycle Ride is tonight once again. Meet at 15th and High St. by 10:00 p.m. Social hour is from 9:30 to 10:00 and we leave at 10:00. We go different route and different places every Monday, but we always end at the HiBeck tavern for free Pizza.
This is not a race or skilled event, we go as fast as the slowest rider and accept all cyclists. Be there!!!

I was just thinking to myself how I haven't made it to a bike night yet this year. Not that those are my scene but they're fun on occasion. Maybe I'll make it up to Quaker Steak this Wednesday night for one?

The general route is typically anywhere in the inner city, sometimes thru Bexley or Grandview. We often go through 2-3 side of town on a ride of between an hour to hour and a half. It is always safest to ride at night because there is considerably less motorized traffic.
No we can not 'go earlier in the day' this is an unorganized ride with no leadership that has been going on for the past four years without cessation. It is every monday nite at the same time.

We have gone once so far this season... not really our "scene" either other than we do love to admire all the bikes. Unfortunately we can't go this Wed. but we should meet up there another time for sure. Have you ever been to Iron Pony's Friday night bike nights? They usually have some goofy bruised-up stunt bikers to watch...

Old, but maybe you'll get a little more info from it. I haven't ridden the Monday night right for a long time now. It got a bit crazy for a while, hopefully it's better now.

Last night's route.
Had 40-50 riders
Left 15th and High at 10:06 and rode west to Neil. South to W. 5th over to Harrison Ave where we stopped at a Graduation Party to say congrats.
Proceeded west on 3rd Ave to Granview Ave. and southbound down the hill and around the loop to McKinley Ave. we when headed up McKinley to Harper Rd and then went south on Eureka and thru the Hilltop. we got on Broad then on Burgess Ave. and rode to Sullivant where w took a break in the park near Burgess and Sullivant. We then zig zagged east bound through the Hilltop before getting back on Sullivant and riding all the way to the Bottoms, over the Rich St. bridge to S. High and endind at HiBeck for free pizza!
A blast was had by all!!!
