Bear, I can’t wait to find out! Did you get a sneak preview? How do you think whiskey with that kinda turnaround will be? I understand the whole small barrels = more surface contact relative to volume thing, but the barrels will have to be pretty darn “sweet†(like honey) to produce whiskey that quickly...

I've been anxiously awaiting the release of the Middle West Whiskey. I'm not a huge Vodka fan but I do like Oyo. Does anyone know the price of a bottle? Interestingly, I just read this article in Esquire, talking about young Whiskey...kind of.

I wasn't entirely sober when I asked them about buying a barrel and aging it as we see fit, but what I understood was -
-cost approx $1,500
-have to take the barrel from them, can't leave it on site
-this has been popular, so you might want to move soon on this

To be clear, this is also labeled as OYO so that there is now OYO Vodka and OYO Whiskey. But yeah, I'm glad the vodka was able to support them while they got the whiskey going.

I had a sample of this last October. It was at the end of the evening of our cigar website launch party so my taste buds were not in top shape, but I remember it being really smooth. Like shockingly smooth.
