Anyone know of any stores in the C-Bus metro area that deals primarily in Middle Eastern foodstuffs? I'm planning on making a Turkish meal here at home later this week and am looking for somewhere that would have some of the more common ingredients (fine bulgur wheat, pepper paste, tahini, spices, etc)
I know some of the grocery stores have a Middle Eastern selection, but I'm looking for somewhere with a better selection.

I can think of two, alas, I don't have any names. One is located in between Hound Dogs and the State Liquor Store on North High Street just a bit north of Hudson. Drive to the back parking lot for Hound Dogs and you'll see the door.
A second is found on Olentangy River, just a bit North of the Kroger at Ackerman on the east side of the street. It's a white little store that's sandwiched between a nursery and a hotel. You have to be heading north on Olentangy River to access it.
The first one, incidentally, has the biggest selection of feta cheese ever. If you're a feta fan, you'll be in heaven.

Is this the place you're talking about? Mediterranean Food Imports. They have stuff like bulgur wheat? It sounds like it fits the bill.
Couldn't find the second one you were talking about, but found this while searching for it which sounds like it fits the bill 100% - anyone familiar with this place?

I'm pretty sure the one on High is Mediterranean Food Imports.
As for the second, if I pass by it, I'll get the name. Otherwise, you'll just have to take a drive yourself. It's worth it though, they also sell hot food for carry out and some of it looks gorgeous.

you could try morse road primarily between karl and westerville rds. there seem to be quite a few various ethnic grocers along that strip

It is Mediterranean Food Imports and they have lots of good stuff. Including some decent prepared items. Worth checking out.

Mediterranean Food Imports is your best bet. I believe the owners are Lebanese and they're incredibly helpful in navigating the aisles. I've personally bought bulghur wheat there, so they'll definitely have it. Plus, their prices are really good.
