So there is a sign in the store in saying they will soon be shutting down and reopening in February under a new name and are switching to more of a seafood type menu. Some of the staff had some detail as well.

Michael O' Toole's is being reopened as 89 Fish and Grille. It has new ownership and is being run by Columbus Restaurateur Richard Stopper, who ran 55 on the Blvd. and owned R.J. Snappers. The new restaurant will offer high-end seafood and even feature a raw bar while keeping lunch more causal and affordable. The restaurant space is being redesigned and the outdoor patio will have an outdoor bar. The new restaurant will open January 30.

Very cool news. I was a fan of R.J. Snapper's and was sad to see it go. While there's places to get seafood dishes, there's no solid dedicated seafood restaurant within a close proximity of Downtown.
Looking forward to the new place!

Didn't forget, but it's *sooooo* far away from Downtown. ;)
