MORPC Center for Energy & Environment Education Forum
Meeting Environmental Goals Through Regional Collaboration
Friday, January 6, 2012
10am-11:30am
111 Liberty St., #100, Columbus, OH 43215
MORPC invites you to join us on January 6 to learn about some of the ways our communities can come together to efficiently use limited resources while meeting environmental goals. Presenters will highlight examples where local communities are working across borders and with citizen groups to address recycling, parks and open space preservation, and government services where it makes the most sense. By sharing information and working together as a region we can achieve greater economic prosperity and sustainability. Don’t miss out on the conversation!
Featured Speakers:
• Erin Miller, Environmental Steward for the City of Columbus
• John O’Meara, Executive Director of Franklin County Metro Parks
• Laura Koprowski, Director of Public and Government Affairs at MORPC
Free and open to the public.
