Hey, more info to come, but just a quick announcement to invite one and all to stop by Tigertree on your way down to Comfest Saturday (around lunchtime) to be among the first to purchase a Rad Dog! Rad Dog! is Columbus' first (and only) all vegetarian/vegan hot dog stand. Visit the stand most weekdays downtown (location TBA, but probably somewhere near Broad and High, look for the yellow and white umbrella). For more info visit raddogveg.com (site to be updated soon).

I saw the Rad Dog cart out on High Street today between Gay and Broad on the west side of the street. I didn't have time to stop, is this going to be the regular spot? If so I will be sure to check it out for lunch soon. Good Luck!

My husband (who works downtown) took some co-workers to the Rad Dog cart today at High & Gay and loved it! His co-workers are even omnivores so Rad Dog can appeal to all kinds of eaters. My husband had the "rad dog" w/ sauerkraut (which he says he doesn't normally like) and declares it was "very good!" Can't wait to try it myself.

I had a date with my wife to have lunch (samosa) at the Pearl Market tomorrow. Then I realized it isn't happening Thursday but Friday. Then I was sad. Then I realized I could have Rad Dog instead. I hope it's set up tomorrow. I will be there for lunch.

Jim, Mary, and I were lucky enough to attend their grand opening. Holy crap, those are some amazing dogs. Not being a veggie hot dog fan I was skeptical about the concept but I was blown away at first bite. The audio of us talking with Todd has just been posted on Colmbus Foodcast. I grabbed a Rad Dog today for lunch, and it did not disappoint - thanks, guys, for setting up shop at the heart of downtown. The dog tasted even better than I remembered from my last visit.

He makes some tasty tempura vegetables too. I've eaten at Plank's Cafe where I found the food was forgettable, but had a pretty nice old-school vibe and a good amount of people. Between the two I go with Hal & Al's. The downtown cart is great on Gay, but the MV location has much more variety.

In short: best vegan restaurant on Parsons. And Downtown.

It's hard to knock either location, although I practically lived in the Parsons location. The tempura veggies, Radneck and the Frenchie were my go-to orders. I go out of town for one week, and the whole world falls apart for me! At least I work Downtown.
