Massey's Pizza will be opening a location in downtown Columbus on South High Street - just south of the former Lazarus Building. It will be in the former Coaches Chicken joint.

Very cool. Do they have a sign in the window or something?

I noticed tonight that the old Kyrie Restaurant space (the building with the long large brown and white RESTAURANT sign) at 201 S High St, across from Columbus Commons had all the lights on inside. It looks like there are all new light fixtures running along the walls. It was somewhat difficult to see inside with all the brown paper still covering the windows, but you can see in through some of the tears in the paper. Maybe this is finally a move forward to put the Massey's Pizza that was announced last year that was going into this space.

Hope so! ;) I talked to the operations manager back in November about this but he said it was very early in the process. Will reach back out to him and follow up with details if there's anything new to report.

Wow, this is really great to see. So excited to see where CC and SM take that part of downtown in the coming years. Great news.

Excellent news.
The new park continues to initiate area business.
Funny how that works.

It would be great to be able to bring a pizza over to the park for an impromptu affordable picnic! I am hoping they will have better hours than the generic hotdog/burger kiosk.

Welp, it's not Massey's. Their project is on hold at the moment.
