I was starting separate threads before, and am now going to be keeping it all in this one, with updates as to specific study needs as time goes on. So, here's the deal:
A certain locally-headquartered National leader in Insurance and Financial Services (and more!) is interested in your opinion: we need real people to give us honest feedback as we come up with new technology improvements that we want our current and future customers to love.
We'd love to hear from everyone, but we are frequently most interested in:
- The member of the household who makes financial decisions, like paying bills and choosing/switching/monitoring service providers
- People who are employed, either full-time or part-time, or those who have recently retired
- Those who are at least moderately familiar with computer, tablet, or smart-phone use
- Participants who can easily explain their thoughts out loud as they perform tasks
In other words, we want people mostly similar to the kinds of people who would be our customers, so that we can make decisions about what they will like and need. Additional qualifying factors often pop up, varying by what we're hoping to learn from each research effort, in an attempt to get a smattering of various user types.
Contact me if you'd like to find out more, or to get added to our notification list. You can remove yourself from the list at any time if your availability changes or you become disinterested. And, since we conduct studies across the country, please feel free to pass notice along to your friends and family.
Sessions are often run in-person, but can be done remotely for some studies, and last from 60-90 minutes. We conduct both one-on-one sessions and focus groups. Compensation is usually given in the form of bank gift cards, in lieu of cash, and ranges from $50-$125 per session, depending on the study.
So, that's happening. Hope to hear from you.
