I don't know if this is already posted but I thought it was pretty cool.

I'd really like to see a map just like this starting in 2002 to the present (showing all the individual condo developments, hotel renovations, new restaraunts, etc) to show just how much progress downtown really has made in the past 10 years...

If someone knows Illustrator and has some time, I'm all for brainstorming. I wonder if Paul Bonneville (sp?) still has his list/map of all the condo developments from retrometro - that combined with this map could be a great place to start.

I should have some time next week. It is literally an hour project after all the data is gathered.

Yeah, there's a lot of smaller scale "projects" that aren't on that city map that improves the quality of life Downtown. You could probably rattle off a dozen businesses that have opened Downtown in the past decade that make a more significant impact on our daily lives compared to an individual condo building rehab.
