So apparently this new ABC sitcom is set in Gahanna.

I watched the first 5 minutes, which is a generous amount of time to give an ABC sitcom. ;)

Anyway, yeah... I saw it say Gahanna. Any reason for that?

Fortune magazine named it one of the 100 manliest places to live.

(is that what the sitcom's about? I didn't bother to check)

"Man Up!" sounds like the name of a made up sit-com that characters on another sit-com watch.

But not nearly as brilliant as "Cougarton Abbey."

i've seen a few eopisodes, or parts of them. the show isn't very good, but it seems they know a little about the area. they had a show about raising backyard chickens a couple weeks ago. and I think the school board was called "Franklin county school board" or something like it. Dan Fogler from "balls of fury" is the only good thing about it, i think without him it wouldn't have made it past the Pilot.

But I'm not a dad, don't live in the suburbs, and don't play video games. For me this is a window into a strange and wondrous world, much like Sex in the City. ;-)
