I'm pretty excited about this show. But it worries me a bit seeing that it's at BoMA. I've heard some bad things about recent major events that have been hosted there, particularly where pre-sale ticketing was involved.

Do they have their act together there so that this also won't be a cluster?

i think the show they had problems with was tiesto

there will only be a set amount of presales sold to avoid this problem, and under no circumstances will the presale ticket holders be forced to stand outside

The only issue I saw was with Tiesto, and honestly its the promo company that screws it up, Insomniac in particular...

This is being done by someone entirely different...

Disco = slow but good
Everyone Else = probably good...
Insomniac = sucks

Did they even bother to promote above and beyond... You'd think someone top 5 on the dj list would draw a bigger crowd especially since 2 of the Djs were responsible for modern melodic trance and the style that made most of the top 100 djs on the djmag list... but only a handful of people showed up... when the early tickets were 5 bucks... ridiculous...

I'm psyched to see rusko, could care less about major lazor... some kinda weirdo typical hip hop producer with an obcession for ugly fat chicks it seems.... Bring more dubstep noise and ill bring out my dubstep boys...

If you didn't see the post, there is a show at Bristol on the 20th looks like its 2 maybe 3 Dubstep names... Majority of my dubstep friends are turning 21 in the next few months so I wont be attending...

This strict 21 bullshit is killing me... Definitely be attending this show to see Rusko though...

and diplo is responsible for like...10 other unique styles of dance music that havent even been labelled yet? these dudes are 2 of the most groundbreaking, progressive producers in this field right now, "typical hip hop" producer is about as far off the mark as you could possibly get, maybe you havent listened to all of their stuff?

Surprised that there are dubstep fans in Cbus.
This friday (3/5), and I think every first Friday of the month...The Beat Oracle crew spins at Hal and Al's on Parsons.

They're sick...they bring dubstep, and all sorts of weird electronic/hip-hop stuff.

It's a usually chill vibe there and small crowds. Best kept secret. Check it.
