There's something cool happening in Grandview this Thursday May 13 from 5-7pm, and you don't want to miss it. Brian Lucey is a local musician and mastering engineer, and he's having a grand opening bash at his new studio Magic Garden Mastering. Brian recently finished mastering the upcoming release Brothers from The Black Keys. He'll be playing the new album in its entirety throughout the whole building during the evening. And if getting to see a cool new studio space and listening to the best offering from the Black Keys yet isn't enough, The Rossi will also be providing pizza, and our pals at Pabst Blue Ribbon will be helping you get your beer on.
Here's the scoop though. The shindig is limited to 150 guests at the door. DO NOT DISPAIR! All you need to do to get on the evite list is send your name to masteringstudioparty@gmail.com, and Brian will make sure you get to join in on the fun.
Be sure to read HERE for more scoop on Brian, The Black Keys, the studio, and the musicians he works with. It'll help you sound super smart at the party, and who doesn't want that?
