Love In the Time of Comedy Synopsis
This Valentine’s Day, Full Frontal Nudity will tell you a story of love...YOUR story of love! Based on the best and worst “first date†stories you tell us, FFN will retell that story from a different point of view. New characters! New circumstances! Maybe an alien or two! Who knows? You’ll have to come to the show to find out.
The Columbus Foundation, GCAC, Scion, and OAC support MadLab throughout the year.
What’s So Funny About Love?
Making lovelives funny has been a recurring theme for FFN, but where do they turn for love and comedy on the screen and in real life?
Andy Batt: My favorite romantic comedy is MAJOR LEAGUE. I just think it's hilarious the way they almost ruined one of the best baseball movies of all time with that stupid subplot with Rene Russo. Close 2nd is Semi-Pro for pointless Maura Tierney subplot.
Coolest place for a date in Columbus is the statue garden near the Santa Maria.
Nikki Smith: Favorite romantic comedy is Stephen King's "The Shining". A lovely couple and their small child with and a majestic ski lodge in the mountains. What could be bad about that? I'm sure only wackiness and love could ensue.
Coolest place for a date: The trunk of my car.
Sarah Brunet: Your favorite romantic comedy? I can't think of anything so I am just gonna list two movies I like that contain love and comedy - OLD SCHOOL and WAY OF THE GUN
Cool place you like to take a date in Columbus? Wine Tasting at Burgundy Room, the bar at Schmidt's or the Museum.
Stephen Woosley: My favorite romantic comedy is Annie Hall. It’s also my favorite movie of all time. But not my favorite science fiction movie. That’s Pretty Woman.
Cool place to take a date in Columbus? El Vaquero on Riverside Dr., walking around Grandview.
