Definitely the peak of the season for me last night, brilliant episode all around.

I heard that in the next season we find out Dan Draper is a robot.

There are very few "leaked cell phone photos" I would scour the web to find...today was one of those days.

I realized I don't know anyone that watches Mad Men. I suppose my friends are all idiots, because these last few episodes have been SO GOOD. When they sell Jaguar, man, lots going on. Finale tonite, hopefully there won't be another thousand month gap in between seasons again.

I've never had a chance to watch this show myself --but I assume that everyone knows that the music for the opening credits were composed by none other than Columbus' own RJD2.If not, now you do!
Get the Video Plugin Anne and I just started watching Mad Men over Thanksgiving. We're half way through Season 3 and I just stumbled upon this fact about RJD2. Very cool! :D

That is really cool. Even though I record the show I always have to hear the opening music to set the tone.

Nationwide Insurance going mad for ‘Mad Men’
Apr 5, 2013, 1:08pm EDT
Dan Eaton
Staff reporter-Business FirstNationwide Mutual Insurance Co. is ready to capitalize on Mad Men mania. According to the New York Times, the Columbus-based insurer has signed a sponsorship deal worth between $2 million and $2.5 million with the AMC network that will kick off during the Sunday premiere of the channel’s signature show.

Anyone watch last night? I have it on the DVR, but it was a ponderous 2 hrs, 11 minutes.

I did! It was a typical Mad Men season premiere for me -- kind of boring, but sets up the season well.

Definitely boring, and I could have done without the whole mother's funeral side story completely...but there were things I really liked too. The storyline with Betty following the girl into the burned out buildings, the lighter thing, and just catching up with all the characters made it worth watching.

Yeah, I felt the same about last year's premiere but ended up really liking the season. Although inevitable, I'm a little disappointed the Don has gone back to his philandering ways. He actually seemed more complex and interesting as a faithful guy in love with his wife.

Agree with what everyone has said... a bit on the boring side, but understandably so with such a large ensemble cast and so many new story arcs to establish.
A few notes/observations:
• After 10 minutes or so of just Don & Megan in Hawaii I was wondering if the whole 2 hours was only going to be about them.
• It's 1968 or 1969 and every dude has hipster facial hair! (Stan's beard! Ginsberg's Mustache! Abe's Frank Zappa look!)
• Don sleeping with his neighbor at the end felt like it was supposed to be a big reveal, but it was more of a shoulder-shrug for me.
• Great to see Roger in therapy. Made for lots of comedic moments.
• Lots of life and death in this episode, which I wonder if it will be prevalent throughout the season.
