Awesome! I'm looking forward to it.
Edgar Wright has also all-but confirmed that there's an actual Grindhouse DVD in the works, which I'm also looking forward to. I know I could buy Planet Terror and Death Proof on their own, but I'd rather the theatrical release with them both together and the trailers intact.

I loved the original trailer. I loved the raw and over-the-top feel it had. I hoped so bad that they would actually make it into a movie. Now that I've seen the new trailer, I'm not so sure what to think. It seems too polished and too hollywood for what originally lured me.
Either way, I'm stoked to see Danny Trejo with a lead role!

Either way, I'm stoked to see Danny Trejo with a lead role!when grindhouse first came out, and folks were BEGGING for the individual directors of the trailers to make full-lengths of them, rodriguez stated multiple times that he was far more intereste din making a "machete II" than he was to make a full-length "machete."
that would have been the greatest joke in hollywood history. and yet another reason that i love RR more than any almost any other filmmaker out there. he's not an "artiste" . . . he makes f*ckin' movies!!!
