Walker wrotelifeliberty wrote I'll be there, but prolly a little later so as to miss the 1pm rush. I've been trying to get B eating some Arepazo, but she's never downtown during the week.If this turns out anything like the Warehouse Meetups, there's a steady stream of people coming and going. Probably will never have to wait long for your food. And most people will stick around awhile after eating to hang out.
:D
I was at warehouse Saturday. but not getting up until 11, by the time I got there there was only 3 CUers there. i was able to get a seat at an unoccupied window table and order and get my food rather quickly. Said hello to Merc on his way out. I don't know how people can get up so early on saturdays, 10 am meetup just isn't in the cards for me.
I just know that from going to Arepazo for lunch, if you aren't able to get through on the phone and call in your order for pick up, you will spend your entire lunch 1/2 hour in line and then waiting for the food. but it is always worth it.
I love that they sell so many different non-alcoholic beverages like the San Pellgrino Limonata and sometimes the Pellegrino Aranciata!!! I love eating there.

Are you talking about a weekday or a Sunday lunch? I haven't been there on Sunday yet, but I can't imagine it would be nearly as busy.

I'm talking about weekday, never been on a sunday. I'm sure you are right that sundays will be easier/faster service. We plan on going this Sunday to check it out. It'll be nice if it isn't raining to be able to park in the alley nearby.
Parking is free Downtown on Sundays, FYI.
I wanted Arepazo today, tried calling in an order, but a lot of times they won't answer the phone during lunch. they at least need an answering machine or something if they aren't going to pick up the phone, like something explaining they only take calls befor 12 and after 130 M-F. I didn't have time today to wait in line and then wait for my food to be prepared, if i could just go, pay, and pick up my food i'd probably eat there every day.
UPDATE: This has been cancelled. I guess Arepazo isn't doing Sunday lunches after all.
:x
BUZZKILL.
found out when we showed up to a closed house. ended up at tip top. found it strange all the parking spots on gay were taken, but the street was really dead and there were not many people in either tip top or due amici.
Sorry about that. I updated the thread as soon as I found out. :(
not a problem. after 40 hours on during the week, i don't turn a computer on during evening/weekend hours :D
it was a nice HOT day, and we went before it rained.

Meters are free Sundays and many of the weekend-working Vorys lawyers who use garage space M-F occupy the Gay St. meters all day. Likewise, Rhodes tower and other nearby office workers.
I raise the point because every so often there's a cry for free Saturday meters. If meters were free Saturday, we'd see the same thing Lifeliberty observed yesterday: occupied meters but a dead street. This makes it tough on merchants who rely on meter turnover for their customers.
I've made a public cry for free Saturday meters on Main Street where there are many businesses and few offices.
I'd rather see occupied meters and a dead street instead of unused meters and a dead street.
Went today for the first time in a while and thought the remodeling looked great.
