UPDATE: This has been cancelled. I guess Arepazo isn't doing Sunday lunches after all.

If you haven't already heard, another downtown business has recently extended their weekend hours:
El Arepazo
Open Sundays for Lunch
Noon to 5pm
In the tradition of Roland & Cab124's Saturday Warehouse Cafe Breakfasts, how about a running Sunday Arepazo Lunch? Great place to meet up with some fellow CU'ers, and and another opportunity to support a downtown business willing to take a chance outside the M-F 9-5 hours.
Columbusite reported that there were two people there last weekend (the 17th). Who's down for some lunch this weekend (the 24th)?

I haven't been there eitherâ€¦the 10am breakfast has been brutal for me to try & attend but a lunch? I'm there.

Me too. That cilantro sauce and the piri-piri hot sauce they sell at Katzinger's would be the replacement for mustard and ketchup in hot dog stands in Bear world.

I might take my dog to check out that last day of jazz in the park at Goodale so might miss this one...definitely down for the Sunday after though if we are making this a weekly.

I did not know they were open on Sunday....I am going to be there, but I will be quiet so as not to aggravate others who do not enjoy my company. I love their food.

I'll be there, but prolly a little later so as to miss the 1pm rush. I've been trying to get B eating some Arepazo, but she's never downtown during the week.
and really this is great. sundays it's hard to know where to go because lots of restaurants close on sundays

If this turns out anything like the Warehouse Meetups, there's a steady stream of people coming and going. Probably will never have to wait long for your food. And most people will stick around awhile after eating to hang out.
