A coworker gave me four pints of blueberries, and I am trying to figure out some creative or fun recipes for all those blueberries. Any suggestions????

they freeze pretty well too, if you can't get to them all.

Blueberry Buckle. If you've never had one, it's a moist cake with a streusel topping. Most excellent.

Blueberry crepes would be nice, too.

Blueberry sauce - basically blueberry syrup with lots of blueberries in it. Can be used on pancakes, ice cream, yogurt, - the syrup can be added to club soda/selzer, lemonade, cocktails, whatnot. I've been doing this with cherries this summer and *love* having that stuff in the fridge.
No real recipe - pot+2-3 cups blueberries, a little smashed + 1/2 cup or so of sugar (I usually start low and add, as I taste), little lemon juice, teeny bit of salt... cook to a boil, taste and adjust as necessary. Sometimes I've added water, to get more syrup. Cool and put in a mason jar. Will keep in the fridge for at least a month, but it'll never make it that long.

I love to just eat them raw by themselves. I also put them in my waffles.

+1. A blueberry smoothie made with frozen fruit eliminates the need to use ice for frozen texture, which dilutes the drink in an unpleasant way.
Rinse well and allow the berries to thoroughly dry, then freeze in a Ziploc. For a smoothie, add them to some juice in the blender along with a banana (I peel & freeze these too) and whatever else you like.

i would just add that, if you have the space, i like to spread the berries on a baking sheet and allow them to freeze individually and then pile them into a ziploc bag.

Sit them in a container of vodka!

If you like to preserve, I've got a killer receipe for blueberry lime jam, and spiced blueberry honey -- I've been putting up a lot of blueberries this year.
