I am usually a bit camera-shy, but I actually like the idea of the hidden photographer, for a couple of reasons.
-I love "journalistic" photographs of the action of an event as it is happening, without the fake nature of a posed and composed shot. I like it when photographs capture a moment, without becoming the reason for the moment.
-I kind of hate it when you have to recreate a moment-- "can you just step through that doorway one more time so I can get a shot of that" type scenario.
-Having a photographer in my face taking photographs always makes me self-conscious
-I really love having photographs of events, and look at my photo albums fairly frequently.
