My wife and I are moving to Columbus (I am already here) and need a house to rent. I'd like to find a place on North/Northwest side. Outside of the loop is fine, as I work in Dublin. We have two cats and a dog. We're quiet and so are the pets (all indoor and house trained). We are looking for something that is less than $900/mo, 2+ bedrooms with w/d hookups. I don't particularly require a yard, but if there is one I would not only maintain it, but improve it. If I'm allowed to have a garden, you'll totally get free salsa. I'm not looking to buy within the next year, but that can change. I'm looking to rent from an owner that wants a tenant who will take care of their property. I can do small repairs, but please no "fixer-uppers". We are hoping to move by June 1st. I have been driving down to Cincinnati every weekend, so I haven't yet had time to look for houses the old fashioned way.
If anyone has a house for rent, knows someone who does, or knows a site that actually caters to renting houses, I would greatly appreciate it.
For what it's worth, the closest thing to hits I have gotten on Craigslist just end up increasing my spam folder. It's quite possibly the worst site to find houses to rent.
