If anyone's got any info on a 1-2Br apt in the Clintonville area I'd like to hear about it. 400-600$
Thanks!

How about a 3BR on East Tompkins for $750? Available August.
Olentangy Village has a lot of character in a park-like setting, close to grocery shopping, bike path and COTA.

There's some really nice apartments available on Arcadia, east of Indianola. They overlook the edge of the Glen Echo ravine. The smaller units are less than $600. I think the two bedrooms are more expensive, closer to $700+. Technically, not Clintonville, one block south...

I just got home, and the sign was down.
I'll keep my eye out though as I'm walking around.

Call me crazy. :)
Ahem.
"That's crazy talk missy!"

Crazy.
Thanks everyone for the input; thought I'd found a place, but it just didn't work out. With that being saidâ€â€if anyone has more thoughts or suggestions I'd like to hear'em.

You'll get more bang for your buck with a private realtor. Also, OV's management changed last year, and while they said their service would not change, it did, for the worse, in a big way. (I moved out about 4 months ago, after an attempted breakin at our apartment and subsequently being treated like I was a madwoman for asking them to act appropriately.)
I was not impressed by Olentangy. Beautiful outside, '70s appliances and drabness inside, and they showed us one of each model. For the rents they charge, you can find much nicer digs.
Ya, OV units are nice but not necessarily a good value, IMHO.
I live in OV currently, and I'm moving out in about a month. Beautiful grounds, but I would also say it's a little pricey for what you really end up getting.
There are 2 apartment buildings on EN Broadway. Not sure if this is technically still clintonville, but they are very well kept and off street parking. 940 EN Broadway, across from the park. 1 bedroom are $425-$450 and they pay for heat, water is $15/mo.
