Also, considering you got half your selling price in trade, and as Lifeliberty said, they're probably covered on that stuff... most likely, no one is coming out a loser in this situation.
I stand behind everything I sell and I do disclose anything if it might even just be a potential problem. but as a buyer, people are dicks. that is why it is buyer beware. I think a lot with buying and selling people just go with the attitude that business is business.unless you know what you are doing or the person selling seems responsible and has kept records of service and/or parts, you should have the vehicle inspected by a licensed mechanic that has a lot of experience with the vehicle in question.
Yeah, I buy like you do, and was in sales for over 3 years. I understand the need to "beware," I just wish there wasn't one.
Also, I'm hoping for an end to world hunger.
