This show will sell out in a matter of days. Which is exactly what we are trying to do.

A little more about DanceOn

DanceOn is a new weekly Thursday dance party for the 18 and over crowd looking for something different. No Top 40 here. It will feature 3 separate rooms with 3 seperate genres of music.

Main genres of music on rotation will be Electro, Dubstep, House, Trance, and Hip Hop.

Who's behind the re-opening of Long St Live? From the line-up I have some guesses. Any comments on re-branding or the new 'vibe'? Will there be "models and bottles"?

Just went by Long Street Live the other day, and thought it was such a shame, and surprising, that the place has been empty for so many years. I wonder what it looks like inside - is the "Fabric" still up?

Nice that the place will get some use!

It actually hasn't been closed. Just dead to many of us :)

Formerly known as Fire and Ice.

It's definitely different on the right hand side. The old Global, International, and Salsa room have changed a lot. I'm not sure what that side looked like when it was Ice, but they have been remodeling in there for the past 2 months. I can say the sound system is excellent! Which is what I was most worried about. The left hand side that begins with Fabric, the middle room with retractable roof, and the large Live room all look pretty much the same.

Yeah, but I think lilbit was feeling like it's been empty for "so many years". Implying more than just one.

It really doesn't feel like a whole year has gone by. I can't believe the gulf disaster is 1yr old already. Wow.
