The Beer Hunter, Michael Jackson, passed away somewhat unexpectedly last week, and plans are being made to celebrate his life as a fund raiser for the National Parkinson Foundation. I was a great fan of his work, and I know I wasn't alone in Columbus. I wonder if anyone knows of any local plans for participation in this event?

National toast to Beer Hunter plannedFriends of Michael Jackson have begun to plan a national toast to Jackson later this month.
It would be a fundraiser for the National Parkinson Foundation.

If you know a brewpub, bar, tavern, ale house, tap house, multi-tap or similar establishment that might participate urge them to do so. Information will be posted at the Beer Hunter website when plans are finalized, participants will be able to register their site and download a poster, and drinkers will find a list of toast sites.
San Francisco is the only city with a listing so far on that site, but I hope that someone is planning something as I type . . .
