An update from your friendly neighborhood Google fan:
This morning, Google News released a new feature allowing you to input a city name or zip code into its "Local News" section to deliver an aggregate of local news to you on your personalized Google News page. Here's a run-down of stories/sources it came up with as soon as I input my zip code:
"Coffey takes stand in civil case" - Zanesville Times Recorder
"Funds announced for Highway Patrol expansion" - Lancaster Eagle Gazette
"How Clean Is The Gas In Your Car?" - 10TV
"OU, CSCC create new partnership" - The Post Online
So far, it seems like a great way to get lots of news stories from varied sources in and around town. And, of course, you can add the local news feed to your RSS reader with no hassle. Check it out.
