Noel Sayre, a violinist with The Black Swans and Pretty Mighty Mighty, has died in Portsmouth. He was 37. Noel was hospitalized in critical condition after a near-drowning Tuesday evening and passed away early yesterday morning having never regained consciousness.
The Dispatch wrote Noel Sayre, who played violin in the Columbus bands Pretty Mighty Mighty and the Black Swans, died early this morning.He was 37.
Black Swans singer Jerry DeCicca said Sayre had been on life-support since Tuesday evening in the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, after almost drowning in a community pool in nearby Wheelersburg, Ohio.
Lifeguards discovered Sayre's body on the bottom of the deep end of the Porter Township Community Pool just before 6p.m. Tuesday, according to a report from the Scioto County Sheriff's Department.
