I have designed a basic website to help local businesses/talent in Columbus, Circleville, Chillicothe and Lancaster to get noticed. I offer an advertising banner ad, coupons and pages at a fraction of the usual outrageous pricing cost that others offer. Under $24 a week for the first 16 weeks and I don't just post the ads, I want to learn about the business and local talent. I can then make video reviews, tell others and post them online. But I need more advertisers as it's hard to educate local businesses into changing from newspaper ads. And unfortunately Groupon doesn't help! They just want to make a quick buck. So if you own a local and I mean a "Local" business that would like to get on board then please contact me. I am also looking for a major sponsor that would sponsor the entire site and be featured on everything that I publish online and billboards. Plus I have a NY business that is looking at helping me upgrade the site enabling me to offer one time deals, a mobile experience and more. If you would like to learn more then please shoot me a message....Mark :o) http://www.shop4localdeals.com and check out the business link at the top of the page.

Tom - I don't think it is a CMS. If you're interested in learning about WordPress, you can check out WordCamp Columbus, July 14+15 at Ohio State. http://www.2012.columbus.wordcamp.org.

Beginning to doubt the wisdom of doing that.
Actually just might focus my efforts on CU--at least for local media. It's more interactive than any other local site. And my own site is run on Word Press via Bluehost.
Thx for the info.
