Come on out to the patio at the North Market for Local Brews and Local Foods Happy Hour. This month's event is Wednesday, June 30th from 4-7. We've got the answer to your post-Comfest depression: beer, pork, and the bluesy sounds of Willie Phoenix!!

Columbus Brewing Company will have their very popular seasonal brew Summer Teeth (in case you didn't get quite enough this weekend!) and the always good CBC Pale Ale for purchase. @Ksquared and I will be working the taps so be sure to say hi!

Bluescreek Farm Meats is roasting a whole hog. How can you be sad after sampling some of that deliciousness?

E-vited my carnivorous/beer guzzlin' friends. Zoo all day with kids, then somebody else will do the cooking (and brewing) this evening! Yeeee-haw!!!

This was really fun tonight. Miss Somer went through 2 kegs of CBC Summer Teeth and I'm pretty sure I plated over a hundred sandwiches not counting all the delicious pulled pork with CaJohn's BBQ sauce and rolls from Resch's Bakery that were already plated when I got there.
Got to see some familiar faces and meet a couple of new ones (Hi Twixlen!) It's the place to be the last Wednesday of the month!

Bump. It's time again for Local Brews & Local Foods. Wednesday, July 28th on the patio at the North Market from 4-7PM. We'll be featuring tacos by CaJohn's Flavor & Fire (1 free with beer), Columbus Brewing Company Pale Ale (perhaps Summer Teeth too, $4/pint), and live music by guitarist/singer Kevin McEnery. Plus our fave CU volunteers somertimeoh and Ksquared will be lending a hand so do drop by for a beer and a bite!
