In spirit of the upcoming Microbrew Fest: Does anyone have any recommendations for local beer distributors? I'm particularly interested in craft beers in 1/4 or 1/6 kegs, but any insight on local distributors is very much appreciated!

The miller distributing plant (located back behind VV giant Eagle somewhere) carries a few CBC beers, or at least they did last time I picked up a keg there.

That would be Superior Beverage. It's on Michigan Ave.

Sort of off topic...
But anyone got a brand/model keggerator that they love?

http://www.superiorbeveragegroup.com/county.php?id=8Picked up a 1/2 barrel of Coors Original there on Saturday morning. The guys there love their Coors OG and compliment me every time I buy one for my superior tastes. "Best keg we have, and I've tried them all."

Haha, I think I recall there being a banner or something with the top seller and it was something like that Coors OG or Light maybe. Cracked me up. Now I know who is buying it :)

+1 for Premium Beverage...the best beers and the best sales staff. If you like the pumpkin beers, try to get your hands on some Southern Tier Pumking.

Does anyone know why the Premium Bev events are in Cleveland?

Premium regularly sponsors events all over the region. They were the founding beer sponsor for the first Independent's Day. Their beloved staff are frequently spotted at lots of downtown Columbus bars and restaurants preaching the gospel of good beer.

good to know...Tremont is a neat area, but I was hoping there was a bar with which I wasn't familiar in UA.
