I just got the chance to walk through the renovated Little Palace on 4th next to Dirty Franks. Initially (as reported here) they were targeting for a February launch, but of course everything takes longer. Not sure who let us in, either the owner or the manager, but he said around May 24th they plan on opening.
The renovations look great. Tons of work was done and it will be a great addition to the area. I'm very excited to see another restaurant next to Dirty Franks!

I was allowed to look inside a few weeks ago, when they saw me peering through the window. The globe-shaped lights and vinyl booths remind me of a 50's era nightclub. I really like the renovation.
Maybe I'll order Manhattans and Rob Roys on opening night to put me in the mood.

Next Thursday is private party by invite only, sort of soft opening I guess. They seemed to be handing out the invites to regulars/people they knew. I have an invite, but don't know if I am going yet.

I would have tried them on Tuesday but they were not serving lunch that day. It was quite amusing to see people coming up to the door and turning away after reading the sign that said (I was told) that they were opening for dinner, but not lunch.

I went last week and thought it was decent. The $2/$3 little palace sandwhichs were sliders. I got a double cheeseburger,chicken sandwhich, and fries and it was $8. I was still a little hungry. The pizza and stromboli seems good too

Awesome, they kept the santini sub. it used to be awesome with all it's melty cheese, I wonder if it's made the same, if so it was great.
