It's on 4th Street between Main and Rich. How have I never been here before? When you walk in the place you are instantly reminded of the Blue Danube, only it's better. I got the 2 for $5.50 gyro special that runs everyday. I could only eat 1, I'm totally stuffed. But I want to keep eating the second one because they are that good.
It's a classic place that reminds me of the Dube, Mikes bar, Milanos, and The Top Steakhouse. the menu is Greek food, but they offer regualr fare as well. And then there are the older gentlemen preparing the food in the back window, one who I presume is the owner.
I think the only reason this isn't the reigning hipster joint in town is location and the fact that I think they close at 8.
They serve breakfast too Monday - Friday 8am-11am and all day Saturday.
I'm not sure how long it's been there, but this place just screams oldschool.
