Linden Café Aquired by Milan Development

Business development entrepreneur Mo Wright announced last week that his company Milan Development (a subsidiary of The RAMA Companies) would be acquiring the Linden Café, located at 1393 Cleveland Avenue. His company originally purchased the building housing the restaurant in 2009.

RESTAURANT REVS UP FOR RENOVATIONS
Linden Café temporarily closes to upgrade dining experience
Columbus, Ohio (June 29, 2012) - The Linden Café, located at 1393 Cleveland Avenue in the historic Linden community, announced a temporary closure to begin its recently announced renovation plan.
“Our goal is to update the technology, upgrade the current space, and expand access to the room rental and catering services which will ultimately lead to a new and improved dining experience. This upgrade requires us to close while the work is getting done,” says Mo Wright, CEO of the Milan Development, LLC which recently acquired the establishment.”
Wright adds, “We heard loud and clear from our loyal customers who still want to enjoy the signature chicken and waffles and soulful cuisine that they have come to know and love. Even though the restaurant will be closed, our catering services will remain available.”

For some reason I think they call that relatively new area in South Linden the Four Corners. I am sure they were will meaning in trying to develop it, it just seems very poorly planned for pedestrians. The corner itself is an unfriendly, large trapezoid of cars and asphalt.
