I'm pretty quick to defend Spice, which I really enjoy...and I like Park Street Patio too...but Sugar has definitely gone to a place I don't enjoy at this point.

Sugar should be renamed CHEESE.

I've only been to Sugar once before being "escorted" out.
While I was there though, I couldn't clearly identify it's suckiness.

Some douchefuck "vip" thought I was too close to his vip table at that dj AM show...I may or may not have have commented negatively towards the request to move (I was in my special heinekin place,) and was promply led out of the place.
It's cool though, I was obviouslly not wearing enough hair gel to stick around.

I have had many reasons to never go back, but one night that really made me completely irritated was when I was in the VIP which I think the entire concept is retarded but it was with other people and I was dancing and somehow lost my bracelet after I had been in and out of the VIP area passing the same bouncer each time, when I went back up and did not have my bracelet he would not let me go up. Then I beckoned my friends and they were like let her back up here she has been up here and he said no bracelet can't let her through. WTF??? Then I was still talking to them and he pulled me away????? Dude CHILL OUT.....it was ridiculous. Plus I never like the music unless it is a solid house/techno situation. Some of the other people who work there and/or own it are nice. The bouncers, the music and the crowd are not for me.

I was going to say something like "how'd you like to be considered a VIP by Sugar, jesus ick!" but it turns out Enzo is one. So I guess instead I'd like to take this opportunity to ask Paul what brought on this post.

What brought on the post is I hadn't been to Sugar in several months until I wandered through a side connection with the Patio last Thursday. It's a mistake I won't make again.

That is what happened to me.....accident and courtesy to a friend having a party there.............NEVER NEVER AGAIN for sure unless there is a shift in ambience and bouncers.

Sadly, it's been my experience that the shift already happened...to what it is now.
