taking nyquil in the afternoon and not waking up until halfway through the 4th quarter was one of the finest decisions i've ever made. cough. ugh.

I don't like the Giants. In fact, I'm a huge Packers fan. Still...
That was bad ass. The stunned silence coming from Boston is music to my ears.

I would have preferred the Packers/Didn't want the Patriots to win/Hate the Mannings particularly after that little Daddy Manning led rebellion at the Draft of Eli. So all in all, a Superbowl I very had little interest in and watched very little of it.

That one play in the 4th quarter where Eli looked like he was going to get sacked, then threw the ball that looked like it was going to be intercepted only to have the receiver make that unbeleivalble catch was truly amazing! I'm not a Giants fan, but I was tonight. Congats to the NY Giants!

that was WAY impressive, and that means a lot coming from a super Pats fan.
oh well anyway, Tom Brady just gets to go home to his super model girlfriend so I'm sure he isn't TOO sad. I'm jealous.

This was one of the best football games I've ever seen. The last few minutes were incredible. I admit I was rooting for the Giants, but mainly because its always more fun to root for them. This was a huge upset. Especially since the Giants held the most high power offense of all time to 14 points.

I wonder if Belichik is wishing he would have attempted a FG from the 32 on 4th and 13 now instead of going for it. With the game being in a roofed dome it is pretty safe to say that the kicker probably would have hit that FG. If that happened, it's a whole different game. I was saying WTF then. And I'm still saying it now. Stupid call and, I think, what cost the Patriots the game and their rightful place as the best NFL team in history.

Wouldn't the best NFL team of all time win the superbowl?

Yes. That is why it cost them that distinction.

Obviously that's going to be huge question most folks will have for BB about the game. A 49-yard FG, while definitely makeable for an NFL kicker, is not automatic... and it seems pretty safe to say BB has/had more confidence in his offense being able to pick up 13 yards then his kicker making a 49-yarder.
