I have to say that I've always found the skully's bartenders to be very cool and give great service. I'm surprised that you had a bad experience with them. A lot of times (bad)service is a reflection of the way the bartender/server sees the customer. The exception to this is usually expensive places like hyde park where you can be a total a-hole and the servers will still kiss your butt. Don't expect that at skullys right??

Most of the skullys bartenders are my friends so i may not be the best indicator but i've found at most establishments, the servers will treat the cutomers exactly how the patrons treat them. if you are polite to them they will be polite to you.....

The guy front bar is always very cool. I've never ordered a drink from the ladies at the back bar without catching attitude. I've just chalked it up to them being man-hating short north types. I know a few others that share this sentiment.
I'm very nice to all bartenders and having tended bar myself, I'm quite cognizant of their duties. I'm a habitual 20% tipper and typically run up a healthy tab. I shouldn't be treated like a pain in someones a$$.
Anywho....my apologies for the hi-jacking. I hope BANG goes out with a BANG!
