I have a tour booked for Friday June 12th at noon. Unfortunately they only do tours on weekdays but I thought a friday might be the easiest day for people to take a longer lunch. Here is some information about the factory (locally I know they supply Jeni's and northstar).

The tour is FREE - and lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. There is an option of staying afterwards for lunch of PB&J sandwiches which cost between $3.50-$5. I have heard they are delicious but haven't tried them yet myself.
I have to confirm numbers for both the tour and lunch in advance, so please pm me if you would like to come and let me whether you want to stay for lunch afterwards.
Unfortunately you have to be over 21 so no children.

That sounds fun but I work on the east side and can't take that long of a break. Their sandwiches are pretty great through, especially the PB and Nutella.

I saw a picture of that pbj and it looked so good!
Don't think we can make this though.
Can you take pictures? I would love to see!Posted 2 years ago # -
I wish I knew for certain if I could go - don't know if I'll be available that date or out of town getting operated on (and won't know until the beginning of that week, alas.) Chances are pretty good I'll be around, but not quite good enough to commit to it.

Cool, can't wait to see the pics. What did you guys think of the sandwiches?

I was surprised by the variety- I thought they were let down a little by the bread (which might have been better toasted).
I love the hot and spicy peanut butter. Just had some for breakfast.
The PB milkshakes seemed really popular.

The hot and spicy PB was excellent. I had it with spicy jelly, which was slight overkill; MichaelCoyote had it with bananas FTW. Great stuff. I asked about the spice, and the guy said he didn't know exactly which peppers went into it; thought it might even just be black pepper, which surprised me. (A lot.)

On the jar it just says 'spices' - it is pretty hot and I am sure it has chili peppers and/or cayenne (apart from the heat there are some red/orange flecks). It would make an really good satay sauce.
Update:
I have now eaten almost half a jar spicy peanut butter trying to work out what spices are in it. Bear I blame you entirely.None the wiser but it goes well with celery sticks.

I loved the p-banana (peanut butter with honey and banana), but i got mine with the Spicy PB (as bear mentioned) and it was delicious. I concour with hungrywoolf and think that it bread could have been better and toasting would have improved the sandwich..
Overall though it was an excellent sandwich and the Spicy PB is very good.. Next time I'll try the Spicy PB with strawberry preserves..
