Kicking Olde Towne East Into Full Gear
Parsons and Oak have both seen great improvements in recent years and serve as a destination for residents and visitors. Right now, there are a few available properties with commercial space to make it an even better destination. Right next to the wonderful Black Creek Bistro is this building on 684 Oak. This is the only unoccupied storefront along the Parsons corridor.

Further east past some fine brick homes on Oak and 18th Sits Yellow Brick Pizza which serves as a destination restaurant and bar for the area. Two storefronts across the street at 891 and 901 on Oak are up for grabs and once occupied with the right businesses will make this intersection quite a bustling little place and set the tone for the rest of the street. With some large curb bumpouts there also may very well be room for a patio or two.

Next up just a brief five minute walk down a residential section of this street is this building which should already be filled in with two businesses. The residential streets surrounding it are in good condition, so this really looks out of place.

With the addition of just a few more destination spots, let alone five, this will give Olde Towne East the critical mass of businesses that will help spur further commercial revitalization of the neighborhood while simultaneously rounding out the residential streets. Who knows? Main Street may just be around the corner.
