Everyone knows that guy is a dick. If you can get away with calling the president a bigot on national live TV, then stealing the spotlight from some no talent child (he was absolutely right, btw) will be forgotten sooner than we think.

I just think it's disturbing that there's a history of non-winning males waiting till a female wins an award, and then hijacking her moment, to spout off some random bullshit. I suppose the VMA people enjoy the "controversy & drama" though. Whatever.

I really, really refuse to believe this wasn't all staged. I mean, when Taylor Swift went back up on stage later for her moment to shine, she and Beyonce were wearing matching dresses.
Stunt. Just a stunt.
Kanya is a jerk, but his last album was still pretty great. This is the same guy, by the way, who declared himself "the new king of pop" after Michael Jackson died and the "voice of a generation." Clearly, he's arrogant. But "Graduation" was also a good album. Meh. Comes with it all, right?

Stunts should be funny, not sore loser cruel. never cared for kanye, I guess the only thing that changed for me was losing any respect i had for beyonce for being with a douchebag like that. what a LOSER ass role model. did he think he was some townhall meeting or something? I can't believe people admire/think highly of this crap. Well, actually I do believe it, and that makes me sad and angry.
I've been many miles on the other side of wasted before and doing something like that would never even be an option, I don't understand people excusing this behavior because he was drinking.Posted 2 years ago # -

Hmm. Well, celebrities aren't/shouldn't be role models anyway. Stunt doesn't mean joke, it means attention -- i.e. organized and planned attempt. I have a hard time understanding how people "lose respect" for celebrities -- did you really hold them in personal esteem or walk around consciously respecting them before?

whether you think they shouldn't be role models isn't the point. the fact is, they are.
I respect a person in the capacity that they are a role model that children and sometimes adults aspire to be. when they show themselves to be a poor role model, make poor judgements, and just basically show poor character, they lose my respect.and about the stunt thing, I agree with the definition of it. this stunt was just in VERY poor taste. I was talking about when you are doing a stunt as part of an entertainment show that is about awarding people for their achievements, it should be of a positive nature, not showing people how to be mean to one another.

Oh, Thanks! I didn't know. she should be mortified, he made her look bad. I honestly don't follow celeb crap. once in a while I'll watch TMZ, it is pretty funny sometimes or the Soap.
