You know what kills me, I get the pro life argument...I don't agree with it, but I do get it. This is so opposed to it that I can't wrap my brain around how it works.

If these folks are going to debate conception down to a single fertilized cell they could only see with a microscope, that's fine with me. But to then blow away a full-grown, human life that's standing right in front of you, well... way to be Christ-like in your mercy, wisdom, and patience.

It occurs to me that a discussion of the legitimacy of later term abortions kind of defeats the purpose of this tragic death.
You'd be amazed how many liberal thinkers opposed to this death are also opposed to late term abortions.

In other words, the terrorists win.Late-term abortions are almost always _wanted_ pregnancies. These are women who would have been forced to carry to term a child that could not live outside the womb. It is a legitimate medical procedure. The terrorists win when the forced birthers make anyone's medical decisions. Dr. Tiller was murdered because he was one of the few doctors who was willing to perform these procedures.
