On Saturday, October 3, 2009 the first ever Just Cure It will tip off, benefiting the National MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. and the tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. And don't fret - Ohio State doesn't play until 7:00 p.m. so you will be home in plenty of time to catch the game!
Thomas Worthington High School, located at 300 West Dublin Granville Road Worthington, Ohio will host the event. Games will be played in the main and auxiliary gyms and parking is free for all players and guests.
Registration for Just Cure It is available in two forms for both the men's and women's divisions. The Baller Registration is $100 and includes entry for a team of 3-5 players. The Shot Caller Registration is $125 and includes entry for a team of 3-5 players as well as t-shirts and lunch for all players. A team's record during pool play will determine seeding in the tournament bracket. All participants must be 16 years of age or older. Prizes will be awarded for the 1st place team in each division.
Don't Forget to come hungry! There will be a concession stand and an all you can eat pancake breakfast for $5 a person. We will also be selling event t-shirts and raffling off other fun prizes.
Bring friends and family to cheer you on! Admission for guests is free. Donations will be accepted to help off-set the cost.
