Wow, had never heard of this and it definitely looks good! The dad in that is one of my favorite "bit actors" of all time (was amazing in Oz).
On the downside, by going to look at that trailer I couldn't help but watch the trailer for Rambo...and I want that 2 minutes back.

I just RSVP'd for the December 20, 7 pm.
Ya know, it doesn't look like Citizen Kane, but it looks like a really cute and well-put-together little movie.
Plus, I sort of wish I was having Michael Cera's bastard child. So I can live vicariously. I'm in!

Thank you so much for the website and info!
I've been really wanting to see this movie and just rsvp'd for this Thurs.
How did you get the information? Is there something I can sign up to get screening information? Right now my husband and I just try to get the other paper every Thurs morning to find out where the free passes are.
Thanks again!

rsvp'ed for the 12/20 showing... good times! I can't wait to see Mikey Cera's teenage lovechild, I'll bet it looks like Gob.

I think when you RSVP you can sign up for email notifications for Fox Searchlight screenings.
Or you can stay tuned on Columbus Underground for other people to post more free screenings. :D

spagio wine room before-hand!

The 20th is almost here!
Has anyone ever been to one of these screenings before? How early should you go to insure yourself a seat?

I've been to several movie preview screenings. Usually around 45 minutes is enough time to show up beforehand to ensure getting in. They give out way more ticket than they have seats, so you can't show up on time or you won't get in.
It'll be a full house too, I'm sure.

Thanks for the info.
I'll be there early then.

Much better pregnancy movie than Knocked Up.
Two thumbs up!

as long as there's no close up of the crowning, I'm good.
I mean, I'm not a squeemish person, and I've seen births before... but that, even fake, should not be blown up to 20 ft.
