Biden mixes it up at the North Market

I was craving a jalapeno Brezel pretzel. I’m a firm believer in scratching an itch, so to speak, so I made my way to the North Market. Minutes later, who happens to step out of a black car and through the market’s doors? Vice President Joe Biden.

"That little kid" and his sister are can frequently be found at the North Market after school studying. It was pretty awesome for him to get to follow the VP of the US around the market while he was here. I'm sure he has stories for his classmates today and some bragging rights.

Pat on the back to Mayor Mike for his unwavering support of a local business:
As they leaned on the counter and peered into the dipping cabinets, Mayor Coleman, no stranger to Jeni's, said to Mr. Biden, "This is the best ice cream. I'll put this ice cream up against any ice cream in the country."
The VP motorcade was in Northland about an hour later, coming off I-71 and heading East on 161. Not sure if they were heading to Air Force Two or coming for falafel, but it was exciting to see the number two man in the nation on Dublin-Granville Road. I didn't realize Columbus had that many two-seater motorcycles until yesterday.
