Nice interview. Thanks for sharing. Some of the places listed on the posts - University Circle, Clifton, Gateway, Tremont - are ripe for Jeni's branding. Those areas respect Ohio-made and hand-crafted products, so it's a natural fit. Jeez, she could pair up with Michael Symon and offer a signature series ice cream. How about a maple and bacon?
Food critic Michael Ruhlman lives near downtown, and would be a great souce to consult with, given an opportunity.

Cleveland would be closer to me, but the trip to Columbus is always worth it ... and I've had Jeni's at least once (sometimes twice!) on every trip home since Memorial Day.
And, sadly, an Akron location probably simply isn't in the cards for many years yet, if ever.
