I wonder how much bribe money it would take for our elected officials to move the Columbus zoo to Parsons Ave.
Let's revitalize that area!!!
We have to think of the children. What if a tiger were to escape from the zoo. Do you know how many children live off of Sawmill? Wait... families do actually live in that area and there aren't nearly as many bars/clubs off of that part of Sawmill as in the so called "family arena district". So... I guess moving the zoo to Parsons is actually a better idea than moving the casino. hmmmmmmm

The future developer of the Columbus casino spent more than $2 million to persuade Ohioans to move it from the Arena District to the West Side, accounting for about half of the contributions to the successful campaign.
Penn National Gaming Inc., which initially resisted the idea of switching the casino location, ultimately joined forces with corporate interests that had fought the Arena District site. All told, backers of the casino move raised $4.2 million, according to campaign-finance reports filed yesterday.
There was no organized opposition, and no money spent to defeat the measure.
