Is it me or are a lot of people heading off of High st to leave extra pricey rent? Did Milk Bar loose business to other competitors? I wish Kareem and the clothing retailers in the area the best. It doesn't seem like there is enough clothing options in the Short North area.

Milk Bar is actually moving to a nicer place, the Segway store between National Jean Co and Sole Classics. I like their place at 5th just fine, but it may help business being down near the other clothes stores..

I don't like the clothes at Voodoo personally. I am more of a fan of Brigade and some of the stuff at Milk Bar.

Does their ad mean that stuff on sale will be 40% off marked price?

They got a Hyden Yoo jacket already marked down to $108 from like $350 in a small

+1. I don't understand the audience that Voodoo is trying to attract. It seems like college kids with access to credit cards.

Brigade is my new favorite clothing store in the Short North. I can't say its my outright favorite as Bakery Gingham is delish. I will be happy to see Milk Bar move--I like the added density, and I'll visit more often in the new location.

Where do you shop for reasonably priced clothing in the Short North? Or where do you feel you get the biggest bang for your buck and quality?

At present, no where, but that's only because I need an education in style, and am a long way from formulating my own.

Brigade and Milk bar both carry (somewhat) less expensive brands/items -- like $60 jeans and $100 jackets. That's on the low end of what either carry. I am usually attracted to the expensive stuff sadly. They're both worth checking out.
