Next to The Dark Knight, this is easily my 2nd most anticipated movie of '08. Comic book nerds unite!
Watch here.

I was so sad about how the Ghostrider movie turned out. He's my favorite.
This may be only behind The Watchers and the Dark Knight of my most anticipated ever actually.
What the hell do I know though, I was excited for the Hulk...
p.s. THAT CLIP IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is a great trailer. Robert Downey Jr. as a super hero, who knew?
Downey Jr. is PERFECT as Tony Stark.
The new Hulk should be good too, with Ed Norton playing him.
Trailer looks pretty. As most all trailers do.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for the movie, but so few comic book movies turn out to be GREAT. :?

Yea, they had a good thing going with Spiderman but I think they jumped the shark with the third one. There were times during the movie when I asked myself why I was even watching it and contemplated shutting it off rather than ride it out.
:?
That last Spiderman really blew. The third X-men film was pretty crappy too. I don't know why they felt the need to cram every character in the entire history of the comics into two hour movies.

Agreed, and I think I read they're doing it more like the old TV show, with a lonesome sad Bruce Banner as wanderer trying to find a cure for his Hulkness.
It's Spider-Man not Spiderman!

well, if spider-man 4 goes with the Morlun storyline, I think there's real potential for it to be amazing again. One of the most interesting things ever in the Spidey universe (although Venom and Carnage was too and they kinda screwed that up).
p.s. You'll excuse me now, I have to rearrange my 20 sided dice and Star Wars Action figures...wow that was nerdy.
The first Hulk movie wasn't bad like the Daredevil or F4 movies, but it wasn't great either. It had a good cast in Eric Bana and Jennifer Connelly. Also, Ang Lee was an interesting choice as director, and he did some interesting things with the movie given the shitty story/script he was dealt with. But with this new one comin out, it sounds like it'll be the Hulk movie the first wasn't.
I had to look "Morlun" up as I've never heard of that guy before, and for good reason too because I just found out he's a newer villian. I don't follow any of the newer comics. All my Spidey knowledge is from the ol school days.
Spidey 3 should've only had the Sandman and Harry as the villians. Venom should've been saved for 4. Blah blah... ok, I'm not even gonna start to talk about Spidey 3 as it gives me a headache haha. It was the biggest let down of '07 ZzZz...
I liked the first Hulk movie, despite all the bad reviews. But I've also painted myself green and busted through a wall in my house, so I'm a little biased. They should cast me in the next one.
The Daredevil movie was really disappointing given all the great storylines over the years. Much better than the crap in the movie. They could have lifted any of those straight from the comic books.
The Kravens Last Hunt story from the Spider-Man comics in the late 80's would have made a great movie too.
I feel like a real dork remembering all this.

DEFINITELY agree with this. Spider-Man 3 could've been a much better movie if it wasn't trying to be two movies at once. Either Venom OR Goblin/Sandman. Not both.
I'll also agree with Motorist - I want to see a good KRAVEN storyline in the next Spider-Man movie.
Hulk: The fact he ended up being Godzilla size for me pretty much ruined it.
Kraven: Hell yes, I think that'd be amazing...read the Morlun stuff though, as it's really good Spidey stuff. Gives a deeper meaning to who he is from the start even.
Most importantly, yeah...Why they felt the need to have Venom, Sandman, and the rebirth of the Goblin in one movie I'll never understand.
Each is a great standalone story, and the only one that was told with interest for me was Sandman...and then left completely short.
I need to find someone in my situation (significant other will not attend the movies he/she actually wants to see). I keep getting excited by trailers and before I know it I am being vetoed for the rental.
New teaser poster came out a few days ago...
