Yeah, but that's not the thing.
Want to jump back and forth between pages, a lot, and more quickly. Want to mark up PDFs (a lot). Ideally to underline stuff, jot notes in the margins. etc.
If the iPad uses the iPhone Kindle app as well as Aji Annotate, and they both take advantage of its architecture (in future releases I gather), well, that could be pretty cool.
And I hear you on the fragility thing, but I would have thought my caseless iPhone would have busted by now given what it's been through. Not sure what magic glass they use that's touch sensitive and surprisingly durable, but it's at least given me pause about what the iPad would be like.
Dunno. Dunno. As usual with Apple, figure I'll wait for rev 2. :-)
