OK...so I was basically forced to sign up for some random HD stations as part of a cable package and was fairly pissed at first, but I've got to say, I've been really impressed with some of them.
INHD has a lineup of shows called MOJO. It's basically a lineup related to eating, drinking, and entertainment, and two shows stick out as clear winners...
1) Three Sheets - An american comedian (Zane Lamprey) travels the world and gets hammered while learning about alcohol and drinking culture. Phenomenal show that's really entertaining (and oddly educational).

2) After Hours with Daniel - It's basically a dinner party where Daniel Boulud (a world class chef in NYC) invites himself over to one of his friend's restaurants in new york. There are always 5 or 6 semi-celebs from the entertainment and culinary worlds who sit around and bs about stuff. There's a good mix of cooking and storytelling.

If you're not watching them...set your DVR's. They're definitely worth it.

Ha! I was just going to post something about Three Sheets, but was trying to figure out if anyone would care...
But yes, this show is great! Great host, great locations. It's like a travel show if your goals are to meet natives and try to drink like them. Have watched just the Prague and Venice episodes so far. My favorite moment so far was the "grappa" (an alcohol fermented from grape skins, stalks, seeds, i.e. wine leftovers) scene in Venice. He asks the bartender after already consuming many, many drinks, "ok, so are there any other Venetian drinks I haven't tried.?" "Grappa!", the bartender immediately responds, to which the host dejectedly mutters "f******ck...." The face one makes when they're about to be given an awful shot is priceless!
A handful of the episodes are streamable from the website. Recommended!

I have been semi-impressed with some of these channels as well. Some good live music stuff and original programming. Haven't checked this one out yet though but I will soon.

What provider are you using? I've never heard of these channels, and Time Warner's guide shows you all the channels in the list whether you get them or not. Perhaps I just haven't surfed around enough to find them. I rarely surf...

Is it me or does this sound just like Insomniac that was on comedy central?
Do you have to have some special HD package to get that or does everyone with digital cable get it? Sounds like a great show.

Yeah. It's like Insomniac if Dave Attell traveled the world and wanted to learn about what he was pouring down his throat.
And I'm pretty sure you need the HD package to get it. But like mellotron posted, you can watch a few full episodes on the website or youtube.

Anyone catch the latest episodes? Munich (oktoberfest), Seoul, and Kentucky?
For some reason I think the show works the best in the asian countries. He always ends up drinking with a table full of screaming, drunk asian guys by the end of the show.
Also, the 6 for 6 performance by THE Steve McKenna in the Whiskey identification contest was impressive to say the least.

No, I've missed several in a row now... Need to catch up.
But I did just get back from a trip to Europe where I spent two nights in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I bought a tie at Croata, where the employees remember well the show's visit last year. Later, I took a photo of Pupo, the restaurant where he meets up with his Croatian drinking buddies. Pretty cool. I had forgotten that the owner offered 10% off if you mentioned the show!
As for running into drunk Asians, he's been able to do that in Europe, too! Remember U Fleku in Prague? The guy who had to run to the bathroom to puke?

Croata - got myself a nice tie here :) The employees remember the taping of the show well!
