Hey Underground Family. I'm getting back on FaceBook with a new profile. My problem is that when I go to add friends that I know, I get the message "Do you know this user personally? To prevent misuse of Facebook, this request can't be sent. To learn more, please visit the Help Center. If you believe you're seeing this message in error, you can report the problem.". Does anyone know how to get around this?

You probably need to verify your account with a phone number.

The other thing may be that you reached a daily cap of adding new people and a fb engine stopped you to make sure your not a hacker or spam account. I have seen this before a few times and just give it a day to pass.

You might want to ask some of your friends to add you instead. This is just a guess, but once you're in a few friendship networks, maybe your account will seem more legitimate to Facebook.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I think what the problem was is that I requested to many people at once. Its working now so thanks for the information.
