We don't have cable! Are there any bars (preferably in the campus/downtown area) who will agree to play this episode with the sound on?? I promise I can drink enough cocktails to make it worth it for you!!

that was my first thought, too - maybe they're planning to watch it tonight? They don't typically have TVs in there, so I didn't know if they were going to have a special viewing party.

The crew at Nida's always let me put the tv on whatever I wanted if I asked for the remote...but it was always cc...I don't recall them ever having the sound on...

You could always call. I think they open at 4:00.

Hrm...I really only was going on weekends when Viv worked, so I'm not sure what their weekday hours look like these days. Michelle at SJT has a couple of tvs, but I don't know if she has cable...although I think I watched some Animal Planet in there last time I was in...

Mondays are usually "Punk Rock Karaoke" and from the sounds of the patio every week, quite popular.
Does Damon's still do the thing where you can tune the TV sound at your table? Is Damon's still around? Totally random but they might put on No Res for you :)Posted 2 years ago # -

Trust me when I say that Nida is happy to have people sitting at her bar and drinking on a Monday night. I'm pretty sure she'd be fine with tuning in to whatever people are interested in.
I believe they're open till 11.

i know gary from clever crow is planning on being at circus to watch it (but like all mondays, the kitchen will still be closed)
i have no idea if PRK is going to start later to acomodate the viewing or not. they usually don't start the singing til 10:30, so there's a good chance they'll hold off on the music til the episode's over.
i'll check into it and report back.
you should watch it with the man in it. it'll be more fun . . .

ok, just got the official word, and it's even better thani thought i'd be . . .
punk rock karaoke WILL be stalled until 11.
circus will be running the show WITH the sound on.
gary WILL be there for a little meet & greet while he watches the show
(although honestly, if you've eaten there before you've probably met him. unless he's swamped he usually tries to come out to say hello to anyone who orders a pie!)and best of all, while the kitchen WILL officially be closed for the night, he's whipping up a half-dozen pizzas to "sample-out" during the show tonight.
free bites of clever crow AND four dollar pitchers?
can't beat it . . .see y'all there!
